Vocational Teacher for Plumbing Education in Adult Education

About the role

As a teacher with us, you will be responsible together with your colleagues for both practical and theoretical teaching. In the workgroup, you will also be responsible for securing APL placements and mentoring students during their APL period. You will also develop and adapt teaching materials to meet students' needs and ensure that the education complies with both industry and educational authority requirements.

You will teach within the plumbing and property program with a focus on plumbing.

This program provides participants with knowledge in:

• Service, operation, and maintenance of properties
• Energy technology installations and their functions
• Technical documentation and systems thinking
• Control technology and energy optimization
• Work environment regulations, safety regulations, and environmental considerations
• Communication and service in interactions with customers and contractors

We are looking for someone who has

• at least 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry in the last 10 years.
• industry certification in plumbing
• 
  

Preferred qualifications include

• previous experience in education
• Vocational Teacher's degree
